Checking the format of exam papers
There is magic is in the air! And not the good kind. Exam papers printed by Providers are being printed in the incorrect format. The result? Students are unable to complete sections of the exam where the printing format is incorrect, placing them at a disadvantage and inevitably leading to lower marks.
But how can this be? The print format of the exam papers is set automatically, and any changes have to be made manually by the person printing the exams. Hence the magic, as bizarrely without manual changes, the format of the exam paper changes. In turn, this is noticed by the examiners during the marking process. As a result, we appeal to Providers to check exam formatting once papers are printed and to further ask students to make sure the format is correct. Please do not manually change the printing format as this will result in errors and be highlighted as an exam irregularity.
