FASSET (Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority) is one of South Africa’s Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs). It focuses on skills development in the finance, accounting, management consulting, and other financial services sectors.

What FASSET Does:

  1. Skills Development & Training Funding – Provides grants and funding to employers for training employees in finance and accounting.
  2. Learnerships & Bursaries – Facilitates learnership programs and bursaries to help individuals gain industry-relevant qualifications.
  3. Accreditation & Quality Assurance – Ensures that training providers meet industry standards and offer quality education.
  4. Career Development & Work Readiness – Runs programs to help graduates and young professionals gain work experience.
  5. Supports Transformation & Inclusion – Aims to increase representation of historically disadvantaged individuals in the finance sector.

ICB works in collaboration with FASSET and QCTO for the Legacy Qualifications on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF)
