How to do a voluntary Postponement of an exam? (with fee)
Students are able to apply for a voluntary postponement – rules and fees apply.
CLASSROOM STUDENTS
Students who study through a Training Centre must contact their Training Centre to request a postponement from the ICB.
The ICB will manually process the postponement and confirmation of the new exam date will be provided to the Training Centre.
DISTANCE / SELF STUDY STUDENTS
Distance and self study students are able to process paid postponements on the student portal. Remember to check the timetable to ensure that there are future dates available for the subject.
This functionality on the student portal has been updated to show the following:
1. Students can now postpone between exam types E.g. Paper to online, online to paper
2. Students can select from multiple postponement date options
3. Students can select an available venue for paper exams
Students will not see postponements available for a booked exam if this subject was already previously postponed for any reason. You can contact support@icb.org.za with any related queries.
