Postponing, Cancelling or
Appealing Disqualification of an Exam
If you missed an exam due to circumstances beyond your control, you may apply for a mitigating (no-cost) postponement—provided you meet the criteria outlined in the ICB Examinations Policy. Be sure to submit all required supporting documents. This form is not for voluntary postponements; those must be booked via the Student Portal.
Need to cancel a booked exam instead? Complete the Exam Cancellation Application form with all required information. This cancellation form is for distance and self-study students and ICB Training Centres only—classroom students must go through their college.
Need to appeal your exam disqualification? You may submit an appeal using the Exam Disqualification Appeal Application form, but only within 48 hours of the disqualification. Supporting documentation is required. Note: This is not the process for appealing your results (e.g., requesting a remark). Appeals may take up to 30 days to review.
Once submitted, you’ll receive an email with a case number. Please allow 2 business days for processing. Incomplete or late applications will be automatically declined.
