Level Up!

The ICB’s qualifications are broken down into subjects, which are entered and examined individually. Each programme is divided into different levels. When a student completes just a few subjects successfully they’ll be awarded an ICB Programme Certificate and can move up to the next level. And they can do it all at your own pace. Before they know it, they will advance to our highest accounting qualification.

The ICB’s 5 business studies programmes are designed to give the most relevant, practical and useful knowledge and skills around. This means that whether a student is undertaking a bookkeeping course, accounting course or business management course, they can be certain that they will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to make them employable and valuable.

When you look at the programmes in detail, you’ll see that some subjects appear in all of them.  These are the courses that give the most essential skills no matter what programme a student chooses. We update our course structure and content on the 1st of April each year to keep everything relevant.  This means students can hit the ground running at work with what they’ve learnt, with knowledge that is completely up to date.
