Muzzamil Karriem started at the ICB as a casual (temporary placement) in 2015 and was assigned at that time, to check exam scripts and packing portfolios(PoE’s).

Not too long after, he became part of the ICB family when he was appointed as a customer service agent. Being an ICB customer service agent is not just about dealing with queries. It is so much more; you get to be part of an awesome team and get to help out in many other departments such as Sales, Marketing and Training.

Before working at the ICB, Muzzamil has never left the Western Cape and has since been privileged enough to take his very first flight outside the Western Cape and now deems himself to be an official frequent flyer.

From moving in between departments, Muzzamil landed up in one of the busiest of all; the Portfolio Department (PoE). At the time, the ICB issued hard copy portfolios, but with technology improving, the ICB made a wonderful change by creating digital portfolios. From the Portfolio Department, he moved on to the Certificate Department and from there to the ICB Academic and Compliance Department as the Team Leader.

During his career, Muzzamil got married and is now a proud father of two. Muzammil have been with the ICB for 9 years and proudly says that the ICB is his other family.
