Bursary winner: A letter from Zimbini Jodwana

Bursary winner: A letter from Zimbini Jodwana

Dear ICB

My name is Zimbini Jodwana. I am a dedicated housewife and a mother of two. I'm applying for your bursary in order to continue and finish my diploma.

It has been my lifelong dream to become an accountant. So when I found the ICB, I saw the opportunity I've been longing for and took it. I enrolled at Damelin College for ICB programmes in 2011. I even convinced my husband to join me, and he did in 2012.

We are now studying via correspondence through Learnex. My husband is paying for both of our fees.

I was planning to finish my Level 5 in 2014. I am currently doing Income Tax and Business Law, but find it difficult to continue due to our financial challenges.

I would be grateful if the ICB would consider me and grant me this bursary, so I can continue my dream.

Thank you in advance,
