Dear ICB My name is Thembisile and I'd like to thank you for your consideration. I am pleased to get this opportunity to apply for an ICB bursary. When I finished Matric in 2012 - and knowing that I wanted to study a financial or accounting field - I thought… Read more »

Bursary winner: A letter from Rizwana Badat

Dear ICB

My name is Rizwana Badat. I'm a self-motivated, driven individual currently working as a logistics manager and junior bookkeeper.

I have tried to further my career with the ICB and successfully completed two courses. But due to financial constraints, I am finding it really hard to realise my dream of one day becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant.

I love what I do, and with my previous achievements you will see that I was born to do this. Amongst many other awards, I've received a distinction in Accounting and Business Economics in Grade 10.

If I'm given the privilege of receiving this bursary, I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Thank you for giving me and many other students in the same predicament as I am this opportunity to apply for a bursary and making our dreams come true.

Kind regards,
