Bursary winner: A letter from Matsepo Mofokeng

Dear ICB

My name is Matsepo Mofokeng and I'm 28 years old. I'm a single mother of a three year old boy and I'm currently working as a data capturer / finance clerk. My dream is to further my studies, become a qualified accountant and run my own practise one day.

I am finding it difficult to pay for my own school fees, my son's creche fees, medical aid, transport, etc. The general cost of living has become very high and I know that being awarded an ICB bursary would lift some burdens off my shoulders. It will also help to make my dreams a reality and unlocking my full potential.

If my application is successful, I promise to utilise this opportunity and put it to good use - not wasting my time and your resources.

Kind regards,

Matsepo
