Bursary winner: A letter from Andisiwe Ngcabhiya

Dear ICB

My name is Andisiwe and I'm 21 years old. I'm young and dedicated, and in the first year of working towards my National Diploma in Financial Accounting at MSC Business College in East London.

I come from a financially disadvantaged family. My parents work on a farm and it's very hard for them to support my studies on a child support grant.

My ambition is to raise the flag for female Chartered Accountants, as I believe there are not many of them. I see myself as a Chartered Accountant in my region one day. I want to plough back into my community some day, as they have been very supportive of me.

I am prepared to be an ambassador for the ICB. I want to be your flag bearer.

I have a zeal for education and would really appreciate your consideration for a bursary.

Kind regards,

Andisiwe
