Membership

The ICB has the following levels of membership with the designatory letters as indicated:

• Student Bookkeeper – SBIcb(SA)
• Certified Junior Bookkeeper – CJIcb(SA)
• Certified Senior Bookkeeper – CSBIcb(SA)
• Certified Technical Financial Accountant – CTFAIcb(SA)
• Certified Financial Accountant – CFAIcb(SA)
• Certified Small Business Financial Manager – CSBFMIcb(SA)
• Certified Junior Office Aministrator - CJOAIcb(SA)
• Certified Senior Office Administrator - CSOAIcb(SA)
• Certified Office Manager - COMIcb(SA)

All learners intending to become mebers of the ICB are required to register as a Student Bookkeeper and pay the prescribed registration fee.  This registration will be valid till the 31 December of the year of registration.  Thereafter Student Bookkeepers are required to pay the applicable annual subscriptions which are due in January of each year and are valid until 31 December of the same year of payment.

Members of the ICB who wish to use the ICB's membership certificates and designations are to apply for the applicable membership level and to pay the applicable membership fee which will be valid to 31 December of the year of payment.  Whereafter, members will be required to pay annual subscriptions to retain membership.

Those members who meet the requirements for an upgrade to a higher level of memebrship, are required to pay the prescribed membership upgrade fee.
