The ICB has been accredited by Fasset as a Quality Assurance Partner (QAP) for the qualifications under the ICB's scope which enables the ICB to accredit training providers to provide the tuition towards these registered qualifications. Those providers intending to offer any of the ICB qualifications are required to register with the ICB as an accredited training provider.
Whilst the ICB is based in South Africa, assessments are conducted throughout southern Africa.
Finally it should be noted that the ICB is associated with two complementary organisations, namely the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) and the International Association of Bookkeepers, both based in the United Kingdom.
