Common subjects across ICB programmes

The ICB’s 5 study programmes share common subjects.

These contain fundamental skills and knowledge that are relevant and valuable to more than one stream.

The chart below shows how some of the subjects overlap across our programmes.

Note that they are not in any kind of order – you would need to complete the subjects and levels of our programmes as outlined in the ICB Courses section.

You can see which are the specialist subjects for each stream (shown in the programme colours) and how easy it is to complete just a few extra subjects to attain a second programme qualification.

For example: if you have completed the ICB Financial Accounting Programme, by obtaining just 2 more subjects (TPAC and PAAD) you can qualify for the Public Sector Accounting Programme too.
